J04ES-E, J04SS-E Junction Box

Each unit provides individual cell trimming with either signal or excitation trim, using independent adjustable resistors to balance load cell output during calibration. Built-in lightning protection helps safeguard connected load cells and instrumentation from voltage transients. Input cable fittings accommodate 4mm to 8mm diameter cable (M16), while output fittings accommodate 5mm to 9mm diameter cable (M20), supporting a range of load cell and indicator cable types commonly used in scale systems.

The J04ES-E and J04SS-E are available in ATEX, FM, and IECEx approved versions, identified by the “-Ex” suffix, for use in hazardous locations. This makes them well suited for tank scales, hopper scales, truck scales, and platform scales across industries such as chemical processing, oil and gas, food and beverage, and bulk material handling. Optional breather versions (J04ES-E-B, J04SS-E-B) are also available where moisture management inside the enclosure is a concern.
