FSP-PTS Stainless Steel Floor Scale Pit Frame

Pit frames like the FSP-PTS are especially useful in distribution centers, warehouses, and material handling facilities where a raised platform scale would create a tripping hazard, obstruct pallet jack and forklift traffic, or interfere with workflow around loading docks. Because the frame is set directly into a poured-concrete foundation, the floor scale sits level with the surrounding floor surface, allowing equipment and personnel to move over it without ramps or transition plates. The stainless steel construction adds corrosion resistance, making the FSP-PTS well suited for facilities that wash down floors, handle moisture-prone materials, or operate in humid or corrosive environments.

The FSP-PTS includes a built-in access hatch, allowing technicians to inspect, service, or troubleshoot the load cells and internal components of the seated floor scale without excavating or removing the frame from the pit. This design reduces long-term maintenance downtime and supports easier calibration and repair work over the life of the installation. The frame is currently offered in a 4×4 platform configuration, with an overall footprint of approximately 1345 x 1512 mm and a height of 120 mm, sized to accept standard FSP and FSP-SS floor scale platforms.
