808CH Remote Display 2.5” Compact Model

Built around Auto-Learn Technology, the 808CH automatically detects indicator string protocols and sets communication baud rates, simplifying setup and reducing commissioning time. Its multiport communication capability supports independent RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, and 20mA current loop (active or passive) connections, with echo-out and addressable multi-display configuration for larger installations. Built-in switch inputs and a relay output allow the 808CH to control traffic lights or other peripheral signaling devices, while lightning ESD protection safeguards communication lines from surges.

Housed in a weatherproof, powder-coated mild steel IP65 enclosure with a GORE^® breather vent, the 808CH is engineered for continuous outdoor and industrial use, operating reliably across a wide -40°C to 50°C (-40°F to 120°F) temperature range. A wall-mounted design, sun/rain visor, and internal UL/CSA-approved 100-240VAC power supply round out a rugged, service-friendly package suited to truck scales, industrial process weighing, and other remote-display applications where operators need to read weight data clearly from a distance.
