The J04ES-FS offers excitation trim while the J04SS-FS offers signal trim, giving system integrators flexibility depending on the load cell resistance and calibration requirements of the application. Input cable fittings accommodate M10 cables from 3mm to 6.5mm in diameter, while output cable fittings accept M16 cables from 4mm to 8mm in diameter, supporting a variety of load cell and indicator wiring configurations. The motherboard layout supports up to four load cells wired in parallel, with a single summed output to the indicator.

ATEX, FM, and IECEx approved versions are available, identified by the “-Ex” suffix, making these junction boxes suitable for use in hazardous locations as well as standard industrial environments. Typical applications include platform scales, tank and hopper weighing, truck scales, and other multi-load-cell systems requiring reliable signal summation and individual cell trimming.
