Built with Auto-Learn Technology, the 808AH automatically detects indicator string protocols and sets communication baud rates, simplifying setup and reducing configuration time in the field. Its multiport communication supports independent RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, and 20mA current loop (active or passive) inputs, with echo-out output and addressable multi-display configuration for larger installations. Switch inputs and a relay output allow the display to control traffic lights, while lightning ESD protection safeguards communication lines in demanding industrial environments.

Designed for service-friendly maintenance, the 808AH features a modular design, external membrane keypad, hinged front cover, and pivoting internal electronics plates, along with onboard diagnostic lights for troubleshooting. It houses an internal encapsulated UL/CSA-approved 100-240VAC power supply, supporting flexible installation across regions. The rugged, weatherproof powder-coated mild steel enclosure (IP65) includes a sun/rain visor, wall and pole mount kit, and a GORE^® breather vent to prevent condensation, making the 808AH well suited for outdoor and harsh industrial settings such as truck scales, tank farms, silos, and other remote weighing applications where operators need a clear readout at a distance.

The 808AH is available in multiple plug and annunciator configurations, including Type B, Type I, and Type F variants supporting GR, NT, lb, kg, and t indications, allowing customers to select the configuration that best matches their regional and application requirements.
