The SBX Alloy Steel Shackle is a heavy-duty rigging component engineered to provide reliable connection points across an exceptionally wide range of load capacities. Available from 2t to 1250t working load, the SBX series covers nearly every scale of lifting and rigging application, from light-duty tasks to the heaviest industrial and marine operations. Each shackle is manufactured to meet ASME B30.26-2015(R2020) approval standards set by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, ensuring compliance with recognized safety and performance benchmarks for load-bearing hardware.
Built with a bow-and-pin design secured by a removable pin, the SBX shackle allows quick and secure attachment to slings, chains, wire ropes, and other rigging hardware. Every unit is tested to 200% of its rated capacity and rated for a breaking load of 400% of the safe working load, giving engineers and rigging professionals a substantial safety margin for demanding lifting operations. The alloy steel construction provides the strength and durability needed for repeated use in harsh industrial environments.
With detailed dimensional data available in both metric and imperial units, including pin diameter, bow width, overall length, and shipping weight, the SBX shackle is well suited for crane rigging, heavy equipment lifting, marine mooring, construction hoisting, offshore operations, and general industrial material handling. The broad capacity range allows a single product family to serve small-scale rigging tasks as well as extreme heavy-lift operations exceeding 1000 tons.
If your application requires shackle selection guidance, custom load ratings, or integration into a broader rigging system, ANYLOAD can assist with technical support and engineering consultation. Our team works with riggers, crane operators, and industrial equipment manufacturers to match the correct shackle hardware to specific lifting requirements, load conditions, and safety standards.
