107CH Wire Rope Load Cell

Designed to mount directly in line with wire rope, the 107CH allows crane and hoist manufacturers to integrate tension monitoring into new or existing rigging assemblies. Each capacity variant is dimensioned for a specific wire rope diameter range, from 6 – 14 mm on the 10 kN model up to 24 – 36 mm on the 100 – 200 kN models, giving engineers flexibility to match sensor size to their application. With non-linearity and repeatability under ±0.3% and low creep over 30 minutes, the 107CH delivers stable tension readings suitable for overload alarms, load indication, and safe working load verification.

For operations requiring certified equipment in hazardous locations, ATEX, FM, and IECEx approved versions of the 107CH are available, identified by the “-Ex” suffix. This makes the sensor a practical choice for mining, offshore, marine, and other heavy industrial lifting operations where explosive atmospheres or strict safety certifications are a requirement.
