We have a full suite of testing equipment at our factory in our R&D laboratory and on our production line. We regularly custom manufacture special load cells, scales, and weighing components for special applications where standard products may not be suitable. Everything we manufacture is backed by hard data and prototype testing to guarantee performance according to specifications. 

Some special environments that we have made load cells for:

At Anyload, we are a load cell and scale parts manufacturer and distributor, and we rely on scale dealers to service weighing systems. We understand that keeping your weighing equipment in good working order is important, and we are committed to helping you find the support you need to ensure that your equipment is functioning. While we do not directly offer repair or maintenance services, we have an extensive network of service providers across North America and internationally who are able to provide these services.

We have provided scale dealers and other companies with calibration services for load cells. Our factory is ISO/IEC 17025-certified to perform internationally-recognized weight calibrations. However, these are generally complex, high-precision calibrations for special applications and customers will need to cover the shipping costs of items that may often be quite heavy. 

For general compliance calibrations, we refer inquirers to VACS Calibration, which performs on-site calibrations for customers across North America. 

Yes, at Anyload, we offer intrinsically safe load cells that meet the Class 1 Division 1 standard for explosion safety. These load cells can be identified by the “-EX” suffix in the part number (e.g., 563YH-2.5Klb-EX). It’s important to note that even with the use of these special load cells, proper installation and adherence to safety guidelines must still be followed to ensure compliance in intrinsically safe electro-mechanic systems.

FM (Factory Mutual) is a global engineering and consulting company that provides certification for products and systems used in hazardous locations. FM approval signifies that a product has been rigorously tested and meets strict safety guidelines for use in environments where flammable gases, vapors, or dust may be present. By using load cells that have received FM approval, you can trust that your electrical systems will be safe and compliant in potentially explosive environments.

At Anyload, we hold FM Canada approval for almost all of our standard products, but we do not have CSA (Canadian Standards Association) approval. While FM Canada and CSA approval are both recognized safety standards in Canada, it’s important to check with the users or potential users of a weighing system to confirm that FM Canada approval is accepted according to their specific corporate policy or regulatory obligations. Please note that proper installation and adherence to safety guidelines must still be followed to ensure compliance in intrinsically safe electro-mechanic systems.

It is important to note that an RMA number is required for all returns, and the product must be returned in its original packaging with all accessories and documentation. Yes, we typically have stock for all of our standard items at our BC and NJ warehouses as well as at our factory, although it varies by sales volume and costs. However, it is not always possible to ensure that there are no interruptions in availability or sufficient quantities. This can be due to a variety of factors, such as the need to stock both metric and imperial measurement versions of the same model of load cells, which can make inventory management more complex. Additionally, we cannot always predict when a customer may buy out a large quantity of stock, which can lead to temporary shortages.

That being said, we do our best to maintain a large inventory of all standard items and can often hold items for customers for a short period of time while they prepare quotes or make purchasing decisions. If you have any specific concerns about inventory availability, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to help you find a solution.

If an item you need is out of stock, we will work with you to find a solution. This may include going over potential substitutes that are immediately available, placing a special order, prioritizing production, and arranging express shipment to ensure that your order is fulfilled as quickly as possible.

Yes, we understand that sometimes customers have urgent needs and we are always willing to go the extra mile to help. While we cannot guarantee that we will always be able to prioritize production or shipping for urgent orders, we will do our best to expedite your order as much as possible. Please note that in some cases, certain projects may involve lead times from our suppliers, which may impact our ability to prioritize production or shipping. Of course! Yes, we regularly offer bulk discounts and volume pricing for both OEM customers for high-volume single-model orders or for large projects. Our headquarter location is in Burnaby (Vancouver), BC, Canada with its warehouse as well as our New Jersey, USA warehouse ships out the majority of our products to dealers, distributors, OEMs, and others. However, we also arrange shipments directly from our factory for large volumes or urgent orders.

For Canadian customers, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit, E-Transfers, cheques, wire transfers, and EFTs. 

For United States customers, we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cheques, wire transfers, and EFTs.

Yes, we take the confidentiality and protection of our client’s intellectual property very seriously. We also require all of our employees to sign non-disclosure agreements to further protect our client’s intellectual property.

We are happy to sign NDAs provided by our clients to further protect their intellectual property. We recommend that our clients provide us with an NDA at the beginning of the project to ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to protect their ideas and information.

Yes, we take every measure to ensure that our client’s information is kept confidential throughout the entire manufacturing process. We have strict internal protocols in place to ensure that access to confidential information is restricted to only those employees who need it to complete the project. 

We will not share your information with any third parties without your explicit consent. If it is necessary to share your information with a third party in order to complete the project, we will discuss this with you and obtain your approval before proceeding. 

While we regularly ship via UPS, FedEx, Day & Ross, and Purolator on our account or our customers, we would be happy to work with you on making special shipping arrangements that best suit your needs.

Yes, Anyload’s load cells are designed to be compatible with a variety of weighing systems. If your system is equipped with a 4- or 6-wire input terminal that is capable of receiving and processing analog millivolt-per-volt signals, you should be able to easily connect Anyload’s load cells to your system. If you do not have a device in your system that can process analog signals, you may need to use a load cell indicator to provide power to the load cell and to output a digital reading.

A load cell failure can be costly for several reasons:

Yes, we have a strong engineering department with seasoned technical sales and customer service support that regularly deals with custom orders with complicated requirements. We have the expertise and resources to take our customers through the entire process, from consultation and engineering to prototyping and production, and we offer aftersales support as well.

We can generally deliver drawings for product modifications and minor custom design revisions within 2 business days, full proposals for complicated projects within 5 business days, and we have no minimum order quantity. However, it’s important to note that there may be some differences between our products and those of other manufacturers. When using a scale or indicator to weigh an object, the net weight is the weight of the object itself, while the gross weight includes the weight of the object and any packaging or containers. For example, if you place a bag of flour on the scale, the scale will display the gross weight of the bag, which includes the weight of the flour and the weight of the bag itself. If you want to determine the net weight of the flour, you will need to subtract the weight of the bag from the gross weight.

To determine the net weight using a scale or indicator, follow these steps:

  • Place the object on the scale or indicator and record the gross weight.
  • Remove the packaging or container from the object and place it on the scale or indicator separately. Record the weight of the packaging or container.
  • Subtract the weight of the packaging or container from the gross weight to determine the net weight of the object.

For example, if the scale displays a weight of 1.1 kilograms when the bag of flour is placed on it, and the weight of the empty bag is 100 grams, the net weight of the flour is 1 kilogram (1.1 kilograms – 100 grams = 1 kilogram).

It’s important to note that some scales or indicators may have a tare function that allows you to reset the scale to zero after placing an object on it, so you can easily weigh the object without including the weight of any packaging or containers. This can be a convenient way to determine the net weight of an object quickly and accurately.
